Point: The main reason why children seem to always be happy/lively is because the haven't seen enough of the world to convince them that this is a sad world.

We shouldn't have been given those children storybooks when we're young.
We shouldn't have been taught those concepts of beautiful and flawless friendships, relationships, love and happy endings.
We shoudn't have been allowed to find out all these were lies, the hard way.
We shouldn't have been hurt.

SO WHY WERE WE?!

Because adults seem to think we'll never grow up.
They think we're never "old enough"
They think they can take care of us forever and protect us.
BUT THEY CAN'T!

And that's why we shouldn't made to go through this ordeal.

If we were never given misconceptions about life, about perfection and happiness. Because you have to fight for happiness, and not all of us can stand hurting someone for their own happiness.

Bittersweet teens.

Adolescents these days have hard lives.

Why not just give us a break?!
